The first step in cylinder recycling is to separate the tanks with propane still in them and visually inspect each tank for signs of damage and corrosion.
The second step the tanks are shredded or balded then sent to the foundry to be melted for reuse and today’ seconds ever growing economy. They are then drained of their propane and revealed and stacked. These tanks will be refurbished at our facility. We then place the tanks on pallets and securely wrap them for shipment to companies looking for a low cost alternative for their tank exchange businesses both at home and abroad.
